Wilderness retreat

We booked this lodge because the website promised us wild wallabies in the yard. And they delivered.

The Kangaroo Island wallabies normally are nocturnal. But... at this place they sacrificed some of their daytime napping with the promise of an easy snack... instead of waking up at dusk to start roaming the fields (and roads... not to smart)... these well fed vermins gather together in this yard... and just wait... and wait... and try to look as cute as possible... with the expectation of being fed by the house guests...

We... the house guests... but... without food... then it becomes hard to pet them... or capture them on silicon...

Walibi rule... no food... no petting... or photographing...

... faster gone then lightning...

... but still... no food... no dice... fast little fuckers...
