How not to pick your day for the beach

We set sail for Port Fairy, as the name suggests, it is rumoured to be the birth place of the infamous pirate Jack Sparrow.

We arrived in a sunny Port Fairy. 25 degrees. So... we booked a room in town, changed into our fashionable beachwear. and we headed for the beach...

... but the sun had gone walkabout...

... we optimistically still set up camp on the beach, willing it to clear up...

... but that turned out to be a fairytale.
